Joseph (Jody) Wirtz Jr. -

Mr. Wirtz has worked in the Atlanta banking market for more than fifteen years. He has worked in all aspects of commercial lending and relationship banking, with an emphasis on real estate lending. He joined
The PrivateBank in 2001.
Mr. Wirtz began his career in the real estate finance division at HomeBanc, FSB. He later moved to Prime Bank, FSB, where he underwrote commercial loan requests and managed non-performing real estate loans. When Prime Bank was acquired by SouthTrust Corporation, Mr. Wirtz continued working in construction lending for this regional bank. Most recently, Mr. Wirtz worked for Premier Bank, where he developed the bank’s commercial real estate lending department and served as a senior vice president and team leader. He also worked briefly in that role for Branch Bank and Trust Corporation (BB&T) after it acquired Premier Bank in 2001.
