Ronald Fontenot has joined The PrivateBank as Associate Managing Director in the Bank’s Alpharetta, Georgia office.  He will be responsible for client relationships and business development in Commercial Lending.

 Mr. Fontenot’s prior experience includes a term with Wachovia Bank in Atlanta as Vice President.  After 10 years, he joined Sanderson Industries, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer, where his responsibilities included management of the finance, accounting, and information technology functions.  Most recently he served as a Senior Commercial Lender with Fidelity Bank in Atlanta.

A cum laude graduate of Southern University, Mr. Fontenot then received his M.B.A. with honors at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He then received a degree from Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking.  Mr. Fontenot holds a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law.   He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, ESOP Association, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Sandy Springs Business Association, Our Lady of Lordes Catholic Church, and the Truancy Intervention Project.
