James R. Dow - Private Banking Officer /  Commercial Banking
 

James R. Dow has joined The PrivateBank as a Private Banking Officer in the Alpharetta, Georgia office. He will be responsible for managing client relationships and business development in Commercial Banking.
 

Mr. Dow began his banking career in 1999 with Bank of America, N.A. as a client manager where his primary responsibility was build and manage a portfolio of medium to large size businesses up to 30 million. After six years with Bank of America, Mr. Dow joined Wachovia Bank N. A. in Duluth, Georgia as a relationship manager in commercial lending and financial solutions. At Wachovia, Mr. Dow successfully built and maintained a portfolio of medium to large sized businesses with annual revenues up to 25 million dollars.

 

Mr. Dow has a B.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Masters Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He served as a Commander in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 1991. He is active in the Boy Scouts of America, Junior Achievement, local fast pitch softball and Dizzy Dean Baseball organizations.
